Montrose White Lesser Calamint

Billowing masses of tiny white flowers adorn lesser calamint (Calamintha nepeta 'Montrose White'), a clump-forming hardy perennial that reaches 9 to 12 inches in height and blooms from summer until frost. The crushed leaves have a mint-like fragrance; the flowers attract butterflies, honeybees, and hummingbirds to the garden. Plant lesser calamint, which does not produce viable seeds, in full sun.
