This tulip has 8-inch-in-diameter ruffled and fringed petals that are rosy pink and flamed in cream, held 18 inches above the white-edged green leaves on strong stems. The exceptionally large flowers are particularly subject to damage from strong winds and should be sited in the garden with this in mind. Plant this tulip in full sun and in well- drained soil that dries in the summer to encourage repeat blooms.
