Crested Arborvitae (Thuja occidentalis ‘Cristata’) is a very narrow evergreen conifer that can reach a height of 50’ and a width of 4’. It will tolerate a wide range of soil types as long as periodic deep watering is provided. It prefers full sun and partial shade. Contact with its needles may cause a rash for those with sensitive skin. During the winter, the foliage will darken to a purplish-brown.
