Rose-of-Sharon
Hibiscus syriacus 'America Irene Scott' has pale pink double flowers with prominent staminal columns and creamy white and green variegated foliage. It grows to 8-12 feet high and blooms from mid summer to fall, but does not produce seed. It is sold commercially as Sugar Tip®. It is hardy in zone 5 – 8.
Hibiscus syriacus is native to eastern Asia and is the national flower of Korea.
