Wannabee Anemone Dahlia
The mauve purple ray petals transition to golden orange tubular florets at the center of each bloom becoming slightly laciniated at maturity to create an anemone form Dahlia 'Wannabee'. A 2004 introduction, 'Wannabee' is a striking addition to a container or bedding location.
Dahlias are not hardy in the Chicago region, and must be lifted and stored over winter. Plant in spring, when danger of frost is past.
