Hardy to East Asia, Clematis tibetana is a deciduous vine, blooming from late summer throughout the fall, and featuring 2-inch lantern-shaped yellow flowers and bluish-green finely divided foliage. It grows to 10 feet and prefers full sun to partial shade and rich, well-drained soil. It can be trained on a trellis or shrub or grown as a ground cover where it will creep along the ground.
