This maple is native to the higher elevations in the Middle East, southern Europe and the Caucasus. It can be used as a small shade or street tree, reaching a height of 30 feet with a similar spread. Foliage is a dark green followed by yellow fall color. Plant in full sun to partially shaded locations and provide supplemental watering during periods of drought.
