New! Drawing inspiration from the bold trees, flowers, and grasses in different gardens, you will build a large watercolor depicting autumn’s harvest. Your painting, with its splashes of color, will encompass the essence of fall through its rich shapes, hues, and textures. You will explore a range of compositions to determine the direction and scope of your final piece measuring between 15 by 22 inches and 22 by 30 inches, with a focus on color, balance, and overall visual impact. Gain inspiration from the gardens as portions of this course will be held outside. Dress for the weather. A supply list will be sent.

Prerequisite—Drawing and painting coursework.
