Geum coccineum ‘Cooky’ is also known as Geum coccineum ‘Borisii Strain’. It stands 20 inches high and blooms from early May to early June with bright orange-red flowers that have overlapping petals and orange-yellow stamens. The flowers are upward facing, measuring 1 ½ inches across. Plant it in full sun or partial shade. It is hardy in zones 4 - 9.
