Have some fun with gross science by studying decomposition. Observe food scraps decomposing in bags in various conditions. Discuss how food is a problem in the waste stream and ways we can help save the planet by composting. Learn how to set up and manage a successful compost pile in your school garden or at home. And by the way, what are those “compostable” plastic bags made of? Find out in this workshop!
